If you're an adult services provider, you need a web site. Period. Why? The simpliest reason is that if you don't have one, you'll find it next to impossible to compete with those who do. In your business, appearences, both personal and professional, are very important. You need to be seen.
Your site says a lot about you; in fact it is says everything about you that you want a potential client to know. You use it to create a business persona. It can say that you are beautiful, sophisticated, self-assured - a good use of a gentleman's time and resources. Or it can say that you are cheap, amateurish, and ordinary. Having an amateurish site is better than having no site, but not by much.
So, how do you get a site? There are many ways. If you are computer-literate, you can build your own. Perhaps you have a friend or relative that you trust enough to ask to build you one. As with any other service in life, however, if you want a quality result, it's best to hire a professional.
And, as is true any time that you hire a professional, superior work must be paid for. No doubt you can find a teenager who is anxious to build you a site using his father's computer and "take it out in trade". The problem is, your site will look like it was designed by a teenager using his father's computer. That image will be how you represent yourself to the world.
I specialize in custom designs. Everything about your site will be unique, just as you are. While the work is in progress, your site will be put up in a private location so that you can see the progress and give feedback on any changes that you may want.
I charge $500 for a custom design, where you provide your own photos. I reserve the right to turn down any job if I feel that the photos you supply are inadequate. I only wish to be associated with quality sites.
I charge $700 for a package deal where I do both the photo shoot and site design. This option yields the best results, because the photos can be posed with the site design in mind.
